Key Responsibilities

  • •Assess and identify patients' needs; implement, monitor, and reassess individualized nursing plans in collaboration with physicians and allied health.
  • •Perform systematic patient assessments, record vital signs, recognize/escalate abnormalities, and prepare patients for examinations and treatment.
  • •Provide essential life support and administer medications and treatments, monitoring side effects, reactions, and patient phone/triage communications.
  • •Deliver nephrology and dialysis nursing care, including access site preparation, aseptic setup of the extracorporeal circuit, priming/monitoring dialyzer lines, and interpreting/recording treatment information.
  • •Obtain and document pre, intra, and post dialysis vital signs, weight, and temperature; ensure infection control and patient safety standards are followed.

Key Requirements

  • •Hold an appropriate license to work as a registered nurse in the relevant regulatory health authority.
  • •Have a valid American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider card.
  • •Be willing to work across departments when necessary.
  • •Manage professional re-licensure.
  • •Be able to communicate clearly and effectively in English (spoken and written).
