Key Responsibilities

  • •Set or adjust forms holding concrete to desired pitch, depth, and dimension.
  • •Spread, level, and smooth concrete using hand or power tools (e.g., power trowel/screed) and monitor curing conditions.
  • •Mold expansion joints and edges, clean chipped areas, and assess surface roughness/unevenness.
  • •Compact concrete by operating/regulating pneumatic and electric power vibrators.
  • •Repair and finish concrete by chipping/grinding high spots, cutting out damaged areas, drilling for reinforcing rods, and applying hardening/sealing compounds.
