Key Responsibilities

  • •Design major components/functional system portions, prototypes, and specific products using computer design and engineering systems.
  • •Investigate design factors (manufacturability, materials/equipment availability, interchangeability/replaceability, strength-to-weight efficiency, and cost and specifications).
  • •Provide analytical support across design phases, production manufacturing, and field support services.
  • •Support engineering changes for new hardware design, testing, and production, including first-piece reviews remotely and at vendor locations.
  • •Assist with safety risk analysis and mitigation planning; support investigations of engine field incidents and corrective actions, including quality non-conformance disposition and supplier requests.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
  • •GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • •Experience with Microsoft Office applications.
  • •English (read, write, speak) required for communicating with customers, co-workers, or supervisors.
  • •3D/CAD modeling experience (preferred).
