Key Responsibilities

  • •Handle end-to-end delivery of technical security hardening projects in Brazil, including modifications to business-critical systems.
  • •Improve vulnerability lifecycle by supporting the implementation and maintenance of vulnerability discovery systems and helping teams fix issues.
  • •Design and implement security controls for GCP and AWS in South America (São Paulo), focusing on network segmentation, IAM, and encryption.
  • •Align technical efforts with Brazilian regulatory and compliance requirements, including LGPD and BACEN security requirements.
  • •Promote DevSecOps practices and a strong security culture in local engineering and product squads through security tooling and technical documentation.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of experience in security engineering.
  • •Solid understanding of network security, identity management (IAM), operating systems, and cybersecurity fundamentals.
  • •Deep technical expertise in GCP, AWS, or other cloud providers.
  • •Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and CI/CD technologies and processes.
  • •Proficiency in scripting (Python, Go, or Bash) and experience with containers and orchestrators (Docker, Kubernetes).
