Job Summary

Develop and maintain infrastructure for building, testing, operating, simulating, and evaluating the Cerebras software stack that runs on the Wafer Scale Engine (WSE). Design efficient, scalable cloud and datacenter workflows to automate processes, and partner with development and product teams to monitor software quality and performance. Gain hands-on experience across distributed systems, low-level infrastructure, compilers, and ML frameworks powering next-generation AI infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop and maintain infrastructure to build, test, operate, simulate, and evaluate the Cerebras software stack.
•Design efficient, scalable workflows for automating processes in the cloud and in the datacenter.
•Work closely with development and product management teams to monitor software quality and performance for the WSE.
•Contribute across multiple layers of a fully integrated AI-accelerated system, including distributed systems and low-level infrastructure.
•Support performance, scalability, reliability, and usability improvements to next-generation AI infrastructure.

Key Requirements

•Enrolled in a university program pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
•Experience in software development environments.
•Proficient in Python, shell scripting, and Makefiles.
•Strong end-to-end triage, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
•Experience with Jenkins and CI/CD, plus Docker/Kubernetes and container technologies; AWS at scale is required. UI experience is desirable.
