Key Responsibilities

  • •Partner with the Country General Manager, regional leadership, and cross-functional teams to evaluate opportunities and strategic initiatives and provide commercial/financial insights.
  • •Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and management reporting (dashboards, variance analyses, performance scorecards) to improve profitability and efficiency.
  • •Provide financial leadership for artist signings, licensing, royalty arrangements, publishing/distribution, deal economics, and investment returns; support negotiations with Legal/Business Affairs.
  • •Oversee country finance operations including accounting, accounts payable/receivable, treasury, payroll, royalty processing, and month/quarter/year-end close.
  • •Ensure governance and compliance with IFRS, company policies, tax regulations, statutory reporting, and manage audits and risk/compliance obligations.

Key Requirements

  • •10–15 years of progressive finance experience across commercial finance, FP&A, financial control, and business partnering in multinational organisations.
  • •Proven experience leading the finance function for an in-country business and partnering closely with regional finance teams.
  • •Strategic finance business partnering capability in a matrix organisation, influencing senior stakeholders and supporting commercial decision-making.
  • •Strong expertise in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, business case development, and performance reporting.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance/Commerce/Business (MBA in Finance/Accounting and professional accounting qualification like CPA/CA/ACCA preferred).
