Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform FEED, studies, and detailed design engineering tasks including analysis and calculations for complex engineering work.
  • •Prepare clear detailed design calculations and analyses, including design reports and procedures, and prioritize work to meet deadlines and budgets.
  • •Initiate interfaces with other disciplines to obtain inputs and identify concerns early; perform computer analyses of structures designed by others with guidance.
  • •Prepare and perform engineering checks and design verification (single-discipline check and assist with inter-discipline checks), including engineering check of drafting.
  • •Support engineering activities such as MTO preparation/review under supervision, specifications/subcontract support, review vendor data, assist in bid evaluations, and liaise with relevant teams.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering.
  • •3-8 years of experience in oil and gas with a major contractor or consultant performing detail design, or equivalent experience.
  • •Preferably Registered Engineer in Training (ElT) or a member of a professional engineering society.
  • •Working knowledge of English (oral and written).
  • •Familiarity with standards, codes, and guidelines applicable to the work, plus knowledge of basic design techniques and analysis methods.
