Job Function: Legal, Risk & Compliance

Key Responsibilities

•Carry out complex, high-profile AML file reviews and interact with committees and senior management
•Monitor and escalate regulatory compliance risks; investigate Adverse Media and Politically Exposed Person alerts
•Serve as a subject matter expert and mentor Analyst level employees; represent AML in meetings with Risk and other functions
•Manage or support execution of key monthly and quarterly risk governance reporting; prepare management reports on risk exposures
•Lead projects or provide direction and training to junior staff; operate independently with deep knowledge of financial crimes

Key Requirements

•3 years of experience in AML, Ethics/Conduct, Risk Reporting or any compliance related process in a Financial Institution or equivalent
•A College or University degree is required
•Requires Financial Institution Regulatory and Compliance knowledge including AML, CIP, EDD and KYC regulatory requirements
•Experience as a subject matter expert in offshore banking/financial services teams
•Proactive with minimal supervision and strong communication/advisory skills
