Key Responsibilities

  • •Resolve complex issues involving database performance, capacity, resiliency, stability, replication, and other aspects of distributed database technologies.
  • •Test, analyze, and modify existing Oracle SQL stored procedures; evaluate, refine, and tune Oracle objects supporting applications.
  • •Install, upgrade, patch, secure, diagnose, and troubleshoot Oracle Database versions 12.2 through 19.26.
  • •Create and manage database schemas and objects (tables, columns, triggers, stored procedures, scheduled jobs) and support multitenant pluggable databases.
  • •Maintain security patches and STIG compliance, keep an electronic repository of baselines/changes, and collaborate with development and support teams to implement and resolve data-oriented requirements.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of direct Oracle DBA experience with Oracle Enterprise Editions.
  • •7+ years of increasing responsibilities in Oracle Application Development and Database Administration.
  • •5+ years of IT experience supporting database environments on RHEL and Windows platforms.
  • •Experience administering Oracle Enterprise Editions, including Oracle Data Guard Replication and Recovery Manager.
  • •BS/BA in Computer Science/Software Engineering/Database Management or equivalent experience, plus strong problem-solving and ability to document and troubleshoot issues.
