Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as Commission Manager with end-to-end service delivery and key day-to-day client interface to meet objectives.
  • •Conduct feasibility studies and write procurement reports; apply value management techniques at project outset where appropriate.
  • •Own and present the final cost plan by managing estimating and cost planning activities.
  • •Manage procurement processes and ensure pre-qualification, enquiry, analysis, selection, and contract preparation stages are effective.
  • •Manage post-contract cost variances and change control, oversee cost checking and valuation, produce monthly post-contract cost reports, and help negotiate final accounts.

Key Requirements

  • •Proven cost or commercial management experience across major programmes and projects.
  • •Experience of post-contract administration, including managing cost variances and change control processes.
  • •Infrastructure experience (including Water/Utilities, plus rail/aviation/highways).
  • •Preferably MRICS and experience producing and presenting cost plans and monthly post-contract reports.
  • •Experience leading and managing teams.
