Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as an ISSO supporting implementation and ongoing maintenance of information security controls for assigned OEDA systems.
  • •Provide security engineering support for information systems operating within CMS-authorized enterprise platforms, including cloud-based and managed services.
  • •Support Authorizing Official (AO) and AODR with risk-based authorization decisions.
  • •Conduct continuous monitoring activities such as security event logging, vulnerability scanning, and configuration management.
  • •Act as the principal advisor for program security and privacy, guiding development and maintenance of security and privacy documentation and controls.

Key Requirements

  • •7+ years of cybersecurity experience focused on federal contracts.
  • •Strong experience with Risk Management Framework (RMF) and Authorization to Operate (ATO) management.
  • •Federal security officer experience and experience working with government agencies and compliance/audit trails.
  • •Experience leading large-scale, complex projects with significant milestones, dependencies, and risk/scale.
  • •Familiarity with agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe) and agile practices such as CI/CD.
