Job Summary

Lead the preparation for mobilization and exploitation of the Abidjan metro line 1, coordinating plans, procedures, and safety/quality controls to ensure a smooth transition from pre-exploitation to operations. Based in Abidjan, report to the General Manager Côte d’Ivoire and the Project Technical Director, defining exploitation concepts, procedures, and staffing for the future operations team.

Key Responsibilities

•Define, elaborate, and consolidate the strategy and key exploitation management provisions to be reflected in the exploitation management plan.
•Plan and implement the organization, procedures, and qualified exploitation staff before go-live, with potential adjustments during the first years of operation; compile into an exploitation mobilization plan.
•Develop and implement the development and transfer of competencies for exploitation staff within a dedicated training plan.
•Define modalities and conditions for monitoring and continuous performance improvement of the transport system, described in a performance management plan.
•Coordinate exploitation planning activities, ensure safety and quality of services, and manage relations with travelers and commercial services.

Key Requirements

•Higher education in the form of BAC +3/4 or equivalent.
•Significant experience in railway operations (metro preferred), demonstrating understanding of the challenges of operating a transport system and planning.
•Knowledge of planning methods, such as PERT, GANT… appreciated.
•Good interpersonal skills: listening, pedagogy, rigor, organization, openness, adaptability, intellectual curiosity and attention to detail.
•Ability to work within multidisciplinary teams.
