Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead estimating, cost planning, and the production/presentation of final cost plans through design milestones.
  • •Estimate and negotiate change orders across the construction lifecycle, including reconciliation of changes and support to ensure accurate contractor data.
  • •Perform quantity surveying, cost controls, cost checks, valuations, and support post-contract cost variances and change control processes.
  • •Manage cost impact, contingency management, commitment tracking logs, and coordinate VE sessions and funding data presentations with stakeholders.
  • •Prepare monthly cost reports and negotiate final accounts; compile built cost records for benchmarking and mentor/coaching talent.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a related field.
  • •Minimum 5–7 years of cost management experience in the construction industry.
  • •RICS accredited or actively working towards RICS is preferred.
  • •Experience leading cost management on medium- to large-sized construction projects with medium to high complexity.
  • •Strong construction knowledge (procurement routes, value management, value engineering) and excellent communication skills.
