Job Summary

Lead Poshmark’s end-to-end product design experience for a two-sided fashion marketplace—shaping how people discover, buy, interact, and sell. Define design vision and strategy, oversee core marketplace journeys, and drive innovation across social commerce experiences. Manage and mentor a global design organization, partner with Product and Engineering to embed design into the roadmap, and lead a transition to AI-powered design workflows using tools like Figma Make and Claude Design.

Key Responsibilities

•Define and drive a cohesive product design vision for both buyer and seller experiences and champion design in shaping the product roadmap.
•Lead, mentor, and scale the design organization, including managing managers and building career paths and design processes.
•Oversee design for core marketplace journeys (discovery, listing, selling, social interaction, transactions) and improve liquidity, trust, and marketplace health.
•Partner with Product and Engineering to align design strategy with company goals and translate design systems into implementation standards.
•Lead the transition to AI-powered design workflows, partnering with product and engineering on AI-native development models.

Key Requirements

•At least 10–15+ years of product or UX design experience, with a significant portion in leadership roles.
•Proven success building, managing, and scaling design teams, including managing managers.
•Experience designing for marketplaces, e-commerce, or social platforms and strong familiarity with marketplace dynamics.
•Strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality, user-centered design at scale, with deep expertise in mobile-first consumer products and complex, multi-sided systems.
•Experience using AI design tools like Figma Make or Claude Design.
