Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as a senior developer driving design and delivery of the Forge Cognition edge computing initiative.
  • •Define and own edge architecture patterns for resource-constrained and disconnected environments.
  • •Architect and operationalize workloads on Google Distributed Cloud (edge and/or hosted).
  • •Design, build, and scale Kubernetes-based deployments for edge and cloud (Azure, GCP, Alibaba).
  • •Lead architecture review boards, partner with teams to ensure solutions are secure and observable, and mentor engineers.

  • •Proven experience designing systems for distributed/edge computing environments (Edge/Cloud Architect/Developer).
  • •Strong hands-on Ansible expertise (playbooks, roles, automation at scale).
  • •Expert-level Python development skills.
  • •Production-grade experience with Kubernetes (cluster design, operators, networking, security, troubleshooting).
  • •Experience with Google Distributed Cloud (GDC) or comparable distributed cloud/edge platforms, plus practical IoT experience (device management, connectivity protocols, telemetry/data pipelines).
