Job Summary

Lead strategic research and business analytics for global fintech and lending markets, covering consumer lending, merchant financing, payments, and unit economics across emerging regions. Build 3–5 year strategy roadmaps, define country/product priorities, and develop user/merchant penetration and partnership ecosystems. Partner with Payments and Financial Services stakeholders to identify growth drivers, run strategic deep-dives, and coordinate cross-functional execution using data-driven insights and KPIs.

Key Responsibilities

•Continuously track fintech and lending market developments across Southeast Asia and Latin America and analyze product strategies and operating dynamics to identify risks and opportunities.
•Support development of 3–5 year strategic roadmaps for consumer and merchant lending products, defining country/product priorities and penetration strategies.
•Build localized partnership ecosystems with issuers, acquirers, payment partners, and funding institutions to support sustainable business expansion.
•Act as a strategic partner to Payments and Financial Services, collaborating with Product, Risk, Funding, and E-commerce teams to identify growth drivers and KPI impact.
•Proactively identify business challenges, lead strategic deep-dives, develop actionable solutions, and coordinate stakeholders for efficient execution.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree or above in Economics, Business, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, or related fields, with 5+ years of experience in strategy, consulting, investment, fintech strategy, or business analytics.
•Familiarity with digital lending and payments business models across SEA and/or LATAM, including acquiring, issuing, and fee structures, with strong understanding of lending profitability and operational models.
•Strong strategic thinking and analytical capabilities, including market sizing, strategic frameworks, competitive analysis, and operational deep-dives.
•Ability to independently conduct market and competitor research.
•Proficiency in at least one of SQL, Python, or Excel for data extraction and modeling, including user- and merchant-level attribution analysis; strong cross-functional communication and stakeholder management skills.
