Job Summary

Lead PLC control logic development for data center cooling equipment, partnering with control engineering teams to translate control requirements into diagrams and programmable Siemens PLC logic (Smart & 1200). Drive debugging with simulators and manufactured products, own control parts for factory witness tests (FWT), and manage control logic versioning for standard and customized updates. Provide remote/on-site support and guide other control engineers to ensure product operation quality.

Key Responsibilities

•Discuss control logic requirements with the client-side control engineering team and prepare control logic diagrams for DC cooling equipment.
•Develop PLC control logic programming, mainly on Siemens PLC (Smart & 1200).
•Perform logic debugging using simulators and on manufactured products.
•Own data center project FWT (factory witness test) control responsibilities and provide remote or on-site support.
•Organize control logic versioning for standard updates and customized logic records, and guide other control engineers.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering (and related majors) or Control Science and Engineering.
•10+ years of experience in PLC programming; 5+ years in data center–related PLC control programming is preferred.
•Familiarity with data center cooling products and SOO (sequence of operation).
•Experience with data center project FWT (factory witness test) procedures, preferably for hyperscale technology companies.
•Strong PLC control logic debugging capability (primarily Siemens PLC; Carel or Schneider experience considered).
