Job Summary

As a key member of the regional Commercial team, you’ll manage end-to-end client journeys for a portfolio of Gisborne-based Commercial clients, lead renewal and mid-term discussions, and collaborate with Claims and ABS to ensure timely, accurate service. You’ll optimize systems to improve efficiency, compliance, and client experience, while applying data insights to drive consistent, high-standard outcomes and proactively manage risk.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage the end-to-end client journey, working closely with Claims teams and ABS to ensure smooth, timely support.
•Take ownership of a small portfolio of Commercial clients requiring standard product sets, and contribute to client planning with Client Directors/Managers.
•Lead renewal and mid-term discussions, ensuring advice is timely, accurate, and aligned with client needs.
•Optimize systems and processes to drive efficiency, scalability, compliance, and a strong colleague and client experience.
•Champion continuous improvement using data insights and best practices to deliver predictable, high-standard outcomes and mitigate operational, privacy, and third-party risks.

•Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to explain insurance concepts clearly
•Organisational and time-management abilities to juggle multiple tasks and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
•Client-first mindset with a focus on delivering great client outcomes and building long-term relationships
•Collaborative approach, working with Claims, ABS and internal colleagues to support the client journey
•Commercial awareness and risk mindset, with ability to match client needs to appropriate solutions
