Key Responsibilities

  • •Create and implement network changes through automation and deliver sustainable, repeatable solutions and processes.
  • •Operate and troubleshoot network routing, interconnectivity, platforms, performance, and configuration issues, including low-level application interaction and Linux systems.
  • •Maintain standards across the networking toolset and ensure compliance with defined standards and policies.
  • •Drive innovation across the full network path (from Top of Rack to the Network Border) and support sustaining engineering and optimization.
  • •Work with a Network Architect to ensure fast roll-out of new designs and assist with deployment and long-term network infrastructure and tooling support.

Key Requirements

  • •Extensive experience designing, deploying, and troubleshooting large-scale enterprise WAN architectures using routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP), MPLS, and overlay networks across distributed sites.
  • •Hands-on experience configuring and managing enterprise-grade Software-Defined WAN platforms (e.g., Cisco Catalyst SD-WAN/Viptela, Fortinet Secure SD-WAN, VMware Velocloud, Silver Peak), including centralized policy enforcement, ZTP, and dynamic path selection.
  • •Production experience developing automation scripts and configuration frameworks using Python and Ansible, including consuming network REST APIs and NETCONF/RESTCONF with JSON/YAML/XML.
  • •Strong background implementing secure transport connectivity across WAN boundaries, including IPsec site-to-site tunnels, MACsec, Next-Gen Firewall policies, and QoS traffic shaping.
  • •Familiarity with Kubernetes networking concepts and how to use the Kubernetes CNI to interact with network plugins and manage pod networking.
