Job Summary

Operate a motor grader to precisely level and shape earth materials, and safely run other heavy equipment such as loaders, backhoes, track hoes, haul trucks, and related machinery. Perform routine site and road maintenance, complete daily pre-/post-shift inspections, and maintain grader readiness. Coordinate with crew members, assist with general labor and equipment maintenance, support plant upkeep, and follow OSHA/MSHA-related safety expectations.

Key Responsibilities

•Detect safety hazards and equipment malfunctions and respond accordingly.
•Level and shape materials by cutting, spreading, and finishing to meet grade lines and cross-sections.
•Operate heavy equipment including haul trucks, water trucks, dump trucks, dredge, track hoes, frontend loaders, and skid steer loaders.
•Perform routine site and road maintenance, including haul roads, pits, and areas around installations and fixed assets.
•Complete daily pre-shift and post-shift inspections and route maintenance, including checking fluid levels, tire pressure, and machine condition.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED required.
•1 to 2 years of related experience and/or training (or equivalent education/experience).
•Previous heavy equipment operation experience or training is highly preferred.

•Assist laborers with physical tasks such as laying pipe/utility lines and road construction/asphalt work.
