Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure Trade Compliance compliance across export controls, customs regulations, and sanctions/embargo measures for TGS.
  • •Manage the Trade Compliance team (2 people) and animate a network of correspondents across key functions.
  • •Maintain active regulatory monitoring and manage adjustments resulting from international changes impacting the supply chain.
  • •Define Trade Compliance requirements in procurement contract models; negotiate requirements with suppliers/partners; run supplier base screening using group tools; ensure subcontracting abroad follows licensing and export authorization requirements.
  • •Provide support and compliance validation for solutions in IS/IT and participate in SSI committees; support engineering/industry transformation programs and deploy Trade Compliance compliance for Thales Digital Factory activities integrated into TGS.

Key Requirements

  • •Solid expertise in Trade Compliance, including export controls (France/EU dual-use, EAR/ITAR), international sanctions (OFAC/UE), and customs regulations.
  • •Knowledge of procurement, engineering, IS/IT, and industrial environments, plus contract law and IGI 1300 framework.
  • •At least 10 years of experience in similar roles in an international context, with fluent English required.
  • •Technical curiosity for topics such as AI, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies.
  • •Ability to teach and diplomatically communicate complex compliance topics, while managing a multi-project context and your team.
