Job Summary

Perform electrical installation, repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting for plant machinery, equipment, and fixtures to minimize downtime. Respond to electrical breakdowns across LV–MV systems, motors, switchboards, MCCs, transformers, UPS, VFDs, breakers, and starters, and carry out planned preventive/predictive maintenance. Use SAP for computerized maintenance records and spare parts ordering, ensure work follows EHS and safety procedures, and support continuous improvement through initiatives like 5S and Business Excellence.

Job Function: Field Service, Maintenance & Skilled Trades

Key Responsibilities

•Attend to electrical equipment breakdowns (e.g., LV–MV motors, switchboards, MCCs, transformers, UPS, VFDs, breakers, soft starters) and perform maintenance with minimum supervision.
•Identify and report abnormalities; repair, replace, re-assemble, and test equipment while keeping the work area clean.
•Diagnose electrical breakdowns/failures and troubleshoot plant and equipment with minimal direction.
•Use the computerized maintenance system (SAP) to order spare parts from the warehouse and maintain maintenance records.
•Ensure maintenance work is completed in accordance with safety procedures and plant operational requirements, and support continuous improvement initiatives (5S, Business Excellence, Safety).

Key Requirements

•Diploma in a relevant field.
•Completion of PEC Craft Training.
•3 years of relevant experience in heavy industry after Diploma.
•No experience required after completion of PEC Training.
•Must be able to read and understand engineering drawings/manuals/instructions.
