Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure service delivery according to SLAs and represent the Mainframe Product to internal Airbus teams and external partners.
  • •Synchronize operations between customer peers and service delivery partners responsible for mainframe infrastructure operations.
  • •Manage supplier contracts, track and report KPIs, and manage finance and budget topics.
  • •Act as the interface between application/developer teams and mainframe infrastructure; analyze change impact and coordinate changes between application and mainframe teams.
  • •Investigate and manage incidents; support operations and development teams with troubleshooting/bug fixing and training; perform continuous improvement across performance, functionality, complexity, and costs.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Technology.
  • •At least 3 years of experience in a Mainframe environment.
  • •Good knowledge of mainframe infrastructure/operating system (z/OS, JES2, TSO, ISPF, SDSF, JCL).
  • •Basic knowledge of transactional subsystems (CICS, IMS/DC), database (DB2, IMS/DB), and security systems (RACF).
  • •Advanced level of English; knowledge of other mainframe tools (e.g., DFSORT, SYNCSORT, FileAID IMS, JAVA, FOCUS, LIBRARIAN, schedulers) is a plus.
