•Own feature development from concept through deployment, ensuring Healthie’s platform remains robust and scalable.
•Build, maintain, and scale solutions using Rails on the backend and React/TypeScript/GraphQL on the frontend.
•Ensure high-quality production systems, focusing on maintainable, production-ready code and system reliability.
•Lead technical projects by guiding the engineering team and optimizing the platform to improve the experience for healthcare customers.
•Mentor junior engineers and collaborate through code reviews and cross-functional project planning.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 185,000 - 205,000 annually

Key Requirements

•6+ years of recent experience shipping Rails applications in production, with familiarity using monolithic, service-oriented, or microservice architectures.
•Proficiency with Rails, React, TypeScript, GraphQL, Postgres, and Redis, with hands-on experience managing production stacks in Ruby and Rails.
•Strong operational excellence: coding standards, complexity reduction, refactoring, schema design, and Domain-Driven Design.
•Experience with testing frameworks such as RSpec and Capybara, including unit and higher-level tests for maintainability and bug prevention.
•Technical leadership and collaboration: guide engineering delivery, participate in code reviews and cross-functional planning, and mentor engineers.
