Key Responsibilities

  • •Escort defendants to and from courtrooms, cells, and other areas within the court and accompany them as needed
  • •Monitor and supervise detainees in the docks during court sessions to ensure security
  • •Maintain discretion and confidentiality regarding sensitive information discussed during court proceedings
  • •Listen to distressing testimonies and provide professional support while safeguarding wellbeing
  • •Complete necessary paperwork and data entry, logging detainee movements and incidents

Key Requirements

  • •Must be committed to making a difference in detainee welfare and justice
  • •Ideally have a current valid driver’s license and good written and verbal communication skills

  • •Flexibility to work early/late shifts and a rota-based schedule
