Key Responsibilities

  • •Maintain and repair complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on rental and customer equipment and tools.
  • •Use technology to create, assign, and monitor work orders; track machine service intervals and diagnose root causes.
  • •Practice safe job practices for repairing equipment and order parts as needed.
  • •Maintain complete and timely paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed on a daily basis.
  • •Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts, and help train lower-level technicians as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Own tools applicable to the position and have advanced mechanical aptitude with working knowledge of tools.
  • •Have extensive knowledge of construction equipment with an advanced understanding of schematics and diagrams.
  • •Provide superior customer service, teamwork, and verbal/written communication.
  • •High school diploma; trade school certificate preferred, plus preferred experience in field service, maintenance, and repair.
  • •Be able to move/stand/stoop/bend and lift up to 50 pounds at times.
