Key Responsibilities

  • •Tray eggs from farm racks into incubator racks and load incubators according to set schedules.
  • •Transfer eggs from incubators to hatchers as part of the transfer team.
  • •Clean and disinfect incubators, hatchers, egg room, processing rooms, and hatchery equipment.
  • •Monitor equipment, assist with troubleshooting, and support preventative maintenance.
  • •Learn and back up chick processing and transfer positions, including rotating weekend on-call coverage; assist with training and vaccine mixing/dispensing; participate in safety audits and SOP reviews.

  • •Ability to push/pull wheeled carts weighing up to 1,000 pounds.
