Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver noise assessment work including noise modelling and acoustic assessments aligned to UK British Standards and guidance.
  • •Provide input into technical reports for projects such as planning applications, Environmental Impact Assessments, regulatory permitting, and RIBA stages.
  • •Manage projects or associated tasks and undertake desk-based complex specialist acoustics work across a range of schemes.
  • •Manage and input to project proposals, including providing costings and supporting coordination of the acoustics team.
  • •Line manage and mentor staff to support the career development of more junior colleagues in the India team.

Key Requirements

  • •A relevant degree (ideally at Masters level) or an equivalent qualification in Acoustics.
  • •10+ years’ experience in Acoustics, having reached a senior level in consultancy within an in-house team or relevant organization.
  • •Strong experience in noise modelling and acoustic assessments using UK British Standards and guidance for environmental and/or building acoustic projects.
  • •Experience reviewing deliverables against agreed timescales, budget, and expected quality.
  • •Excellent written and spoken English, with strong organization, communication, and teamwork skills.
