Alternative Investments Accountant

Maintain hedge fund and registered product general ledger records for varying complexities, including producing end-of-month NAV calculations. Prepare daily general ledger entries, perform prime broker and bank cash reconciliations, process advisor and portfolio management activities, and handle corporate actions, expense accruals, and distributions. Partner with administrators, transfer agencies, prime brokers, and custodians to ensure SEC compliance and adherence to GAAP, while recording trades, income/expenses, and security valuations in the portfolio accounting system.
