Key Responsibilities

  • •Receive product from the press, stack/place on pallets, and ensure correct loading and completion with quality and accuracy checks.
  • •Perform make-ready and setup/breakdown tasks including cylinders, doctor blades, printing components, and print unit cassettes, following established instructions and procedures.
  • •Support press operation during downtime, assist press crew tasks, and help with changes needed for upcoming jobs (e.g., tools and impression rollers).
  • •Maintain OHSE compliance by using appropriate PPE, handling/disposal of hazardous materials/waste per procedure, and keeping work areas safe and clean.
  • •For applicable areas, operate forklift for safe material handling (loading/unloading, moving loads, inspections, paperwork) and support gluer tasks (feeding product, packing, palletizing).

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma (or GED) with one to three years of related production experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • •Very good mechanical and physical ability, with lift truck operators maintaining safety training for company equipment.
  • •Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and perform prolonged standing, stooping, bending, reaching, balancing, climbing, kneeling, crouching, and safe manual dexterity.
  • •Ability to rotate shifts and be available to work in excess of 8 hours per day and/or 40 hours per week when necessary.
  • •Dependable attendance and punctuality, willing to assist operators and complete additional tasks as requested by department/shift leads or management.
