Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate plant machinery as directed while adhering to all safety rules, regulations, and procedures.
  • •Read job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements, including setting stops/guides to specified lengths.
  • •Observe machine operation to detect product defects or machine malfunctions and verify products meet quality requirements.
  • •Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery.
  • •Maintain housekeeping in a clean and orderly fashion and assist other operators with setups and tasks to meet deadlines.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma/equivalent (or at least 1 month of related trades-specific experience, or equivalent education and experience).

  • •Basic math skills to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using common fractions and decimals.
  • •Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (including Word and Excel) and ability to maintain high accuracy.
