Key Responsibilities

•Inspecting and reporting on building-related matters, i.e., preparing causation reports on defects and damages to buildings and associated structures
•Providing technical advice and detailed scope of works and cost estimates in accordance with Australian Standards and Building Code of Australia
•Dealing with insureds, builders and insurers to scope repairs and liaise on claims
•Supporting conclusions with appropriate expert testimony in legal proceedings when required
•Managing 40% site visits and 60% office/hybrid work to deliver timely file closures (3-4 weeks) and maintain client relationships

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (preferably structural)
•Sound technical report writing skills
•Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (preferably structural) (repeat to ensure inclusion)
•Chartered Engineer (CPEng) or National Engineering Register (NER) qualified
•Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and minimum 5 years of experience in Forensic/Structural Engineering
