Job Summary

Lead discovery and translate research into actionable UX and content strategy for complex, content-rich websites. Create information architecture, wireframes, prototypes, and polished visual designs, then present recommendations clearly to clients and internal teams. Serve as a creative voice in sales and marketing by contributing to proposals and thought leadership content. Fully remote, working with a distributed team and collaborating during Pacific Time hours.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead project discovery, including interest-holder interviews, translating research into design direction, and conducting UX/content/design audits.
•Develop information architecture and content strategy, including navigation/sitemap strategy, content audits/gap analysis, and defining tone/voice and taxonomies.
•Produce UX and visual design artifacts such as wireframes, page templates, interactive prototypes, full-fidelity comps, and responsive design systems.
•Act as a senior creative voice in sales by uncovering goals, risks, constraints, and opportunities during pre-sales discovery and informing proposals/estimates.
•Contribute to marketing and thought leadership through content such as webinars, blog posts, case studies, conference ideas, or educational material.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: CAD 50 - 70 hourly

Key Requirements

•Senior-level, hands-on UX/UI design experience for complex, content-rich websites, with a portfolio showing discovery and strategy through high-fidelity visual design.
•Strong visual design craft including layout, typography, hierarchy, brand application, responsive design, and accessible UI patterns.
•Advanced Figma skills, including prototyping, design systems, component workflows, and client-ready presentation files.
•Advanced knowledge of UX strategy, content strategy, information architecture, and content experience principles.
•Strong communication skills to explain recommendations to designers, developers, and clients.
