Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide end-to-end portfolio leadership by shaping, embedding, and communicating portfolio vision and direction, translating strategy into measurable outcomes.
  • •Lead portfolio controls and optimisation, including establishing governance/controls frameworks, benchmarking, gap analysis, and delivering an optimised future state roadmap.
  • •Drive stakeholder engagement and influence across senior leaders, clients, and delivery teams, building partnerships and aligning stakeholders behind shared outcomes.
  • •Oversee risk and health/safety management across the portfolio, including identification, escalation, and mitigation of risks and issues.
  • •Manage financial and commercial oversight, including CapEx performance, budget tracking, cost reporting, and commission management, while leading people and culture.

Key Requirements

  • •Accreditation or strong working knowledge of portfolio/programme management methodologies and governance frameworks, particularly in real estate and complex delivery environments.
  • •Experience establishing and operating portfolio and/or programme governance frameworks in fast-paced environments, including performance optimisation and capital investment plans.
  • •Proven ability to oversee delivery of expected outcomes with high standards, driving continuous improvement and delivery discipline.
  • •Experience operating at executive/C-suite level, communicating clearly and influencing outcomes through presentations of portfolio data.
  • •Strong portfolio financial oversight (CapEx, budget tracking, cost management) and understanding of procurement methodologies, contract forms, and commercial frameworks.
