Key Responsibilities

•Analyze applications and system architectures from inception to release to identify vulnerabilities and integrate security controls, conduct architecture reviews and threat modeling
•Conduct regular security assessments and AI-assisted testing to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities before exploitation
•Mature vulnerability management via security platforms and drive risk-contextualized resolutions with development teams
•Provide ongoing guidance to developers on secure coding practices, emerging threats, and security best practices
•Collaborate with incident response teams and participate in security incident calls to propose remediation based on current threat landscapes

Key Requirements

•5+ years of demonstrable experience as a Security Engineer, Application Security Engineer, or Product Security Engineer in a complex, rapidly scaling software organization
•Proficiency in modern programming languages (Python, Typescript) and security tools (Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP)
•Familiar with modern security protocols and encryption methods
•Implemented AI to rapidly identify, validate, and scale security programs
•Deep knowledge of container security (Kubernetes) and securing workloads across AWS, GCP, Azure and on-premises environments
