Key Responsibilities

  • •Analyze applications and system architectures from inception to release to identify vulnerabilities and integrate security controls, conduct architecture reviews and threat modeling
  • •Conduct regular security assessments and AI-assisted testing to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities before exploitation
  • •Mature vulnerability management via security platforms and drive risk-contextualized resolutions with development teams
  • •Provide ongoing guidance to developers on secure coding practices, emerging threats, and security best practices
  • •Collaborate with incident response teams and participate in security incident calls to propose remediation based on current threat landscapes

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of demonstrable experience as a Security Engineer, Application Security Engineer, or Product Security Engineer in a complex, rapidly scaling software organization
  • •Proficiency in modern programming languages (Python, Typescript) and security tools (Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP)
  • •Familiar with modern security protocols and encryption methods
  • •Implemented AI to rapidly identify, validate, and scale security programs
  • •Deep knowledge of container security (Kubernetes) and securing workloads across AWS, GCP, Azure and on-premises environments
