Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage moderate to high-severity commercial liability mass litigation claims involving toxic torts, latent injuries, and class action litigation.
  • •Provide technical claims service through resolution, identifying and mitigating risks and delivering industry insights.
  • •Perform policy interpretation and coverage analysis for CGL, umbrella, excess liability, employers’ liability, and other specialty coverages.
  • •Retain and manage counsel and other vendors; negotiate claim resolution with internal and external stakeholders.
  • •Manage communications and reporting associated with each claim from assignment through resolution, with moderate direction from claims leadership.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 90,000 - 150,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years in claims and/or litigation management, OR Juris Doctor and 2+ years, OR Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice with an associate degree and 6+ years, OR completion of Zurich Claims Training Program and 6+ years, OR High School Diploma Equivalent with 8+ years.
  • •Must obtain and maintain required adjuster license(s).
  • •Microsoft Office experience.
  • •Knowledge of insurance regulations, markets, and products.
  • •Provide technical claims service on mostly litigated matters of moderate to high severity and complexity.
