Key Responsibilities

  • •Produce BIM models for Mechanical, Electrical and PH services using Revit MEP, agreeing drawing strategy, type/size, and drawing numbering with engineers.
  • •Prepare AutoCAD design drawings for MEP services as priorities require, and develop plant room layouts, sections, details, and coordinated services drawings.
  • •Develop general arrangement drawings from engineers’ sketches and create coordinated building details; discuss and agree setting out and building services details with the team.
  • •Complete design sketches for information in tender documents for small/routine work and produce outputs to specified WSP CAD standards (suggest revisions when appropriate).
  • •Follow QA, document control, archiving, and CDM guidelines; support coordination of engineering services and assist more senior BIM technicians/coordinators with task analysis.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree Engineering (or equivalent) or Vocational Course (Engineering) (or equivalent).
  • •Working towards engineering registration within the jurisdiction.
  • •Typically 3-4 years’ experience.
  • •Ability to undertake key technical tasks independently across small to medium projects.
  • •Ability to develop 3D Revit skills and prepare 2D Revit documentation using company standards and BIM protocols.
