Key Responsibilities

  • •Partner with technologists to ensure robust characterization solutions for emerging and pathfinding technologies with novel components.
  • •Define test structures and architect test solutions, innovating new test capabilities to generate accurate characterization data for technology assessment and SPICE models.
  • •Partner with design teams to align critical FoM specifications to characterization data and SPICE model simulations.
  • •Drive best practices and methodologies for optimal test structure design and characterization methods to support high-performance technology entitlement.
  • •Characterize component types across process, bias, temperature, and frequency, and build characterization infrastructure to enable rapid learning cycles.

Key Requirements

  • •Master’s in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Engineering Physics, or related, with 5 years of semiconductor experience in test and measurements.
  • •Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Engineering Physics, or related, with 3 years of semiconductor experience in test and measurements.
  • •Expertise in testing fundamentals and experience with semi-automated and automated characterization methods, tools, and equipment.
  • •Understanding of semiconductor device physics, with programming experience.
  • •Experience developing test systems and working knowledge of SPICE models for components.
