Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and manage a team of Financial Crime Operations Team Leads and Specialists, driving performance and cultural excellence.
  • •Ensure effective assessment and mitigation of risks for high-risk customers while strictly adhering to AML/CFT regulations and Wise internal policies.
  • •Own governance and quality: meet KPIs/SLAs, integrate quality standards into processes/tools, lead root cause analysis, and implement improvements.
  • •Drive operational management by translating plans into phased implementations, optimizing team structure, and collaborating with product/operations to boost automation and customer experience.
  • •Lead incident and project management, including escalation, milestone tracking, documentation, and clear communication to senior leadership and stakeholders.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: BRL 23,300 - 31,200 monthly

Key Requirements

  • •Experience leading teams in Financial Crime / AML operations with strong risk-based judgment across complex customer structures and activities.
  • •Deep understanding of AML/CFT regulatory obligations and internal policies, with the ability to train and coach others in these domains.
  • •Strong governance skills, including escalation, issue updates to senior leadership, and ownership of incident management from detection through remediation.
  • •Ability to manage performance against KPIs and SLAs in a metrics-driven environment, addressing underperformance with clear action plans.
  • •Project management experience delivering compliant, customer-focused operational processes with strong documentation and stakeholder alignment.
