Key Responsibilities

  • •Collaborate with account managers and energy engineers to diagnose energy opportunities and deliver small energy projects that address customer issues.
  • •Provide technical analysis/review for energy projects, including project risk assessment.
  • •Perform building walkthroughs to identify energy conservation measures across architectural, mechanical, and electrical systems in commercial, institutional, and industrial facilities.
  • •Assist with opportunity technical qualification such as preliminary audits, benchmarking, site surveys, and interviews.
  • •Analyze data outputs for trends/deviations and help develop benchmark summary reports describing building and system performance.

Key Requirements

  • •Actively enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering (preferred: Energy, Mechanical, or Electrical) throughout the internship, with at least sophomore/2nd year completed before it starts.
  • •Be a U.S. citizen or have the legal right to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
  • •Possess a valid driver’s license for a minimum of 12 months, provide proof of insurance, and have no major or frequent traffic violations (including DUI, hit & run, or reckless/careless driving) in the previous 3 years.
  • •This is a Safety Sensitive role, which may require passing additional drug screening.
  • •Ability to collaborate with peers across North America while assisting on energy engineering tasks and field activities.
