Key Responsibilities

  • •Support structural due diligence for greenfield and conversion sites: foundation conditions, existing structure assessments, and geotechnical constraints
  • •Review geotechnical reports and assist in assigning structural design actions based on soil bearing capacities, settlement risk, and seismic classifications
  • •Assist in identifying structural cost risks during site selection, including retrofit complexity for conversion facilities
  • •Evaluate site suitability for large-scale structural systems, heavy equipment loads, and critical infrastructure requirements
  • •Apply and enforce structural basis of design, master specifications, and standard details for Fluidstack's campus portfolio

Key Requirements

  • •B.S. in Civil Engineering (Structural focus)
  • •4+ years of structural engineering experience, including work on data center development projects
  • •Experience in mission-critical building design (steel and concrete structures)
  • •Professional Engineer (PE) license, or active pursuit with expected licensure within 6 months
  • •Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, ETABS, RISA, and RAM Structural Systems
