Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the full commercial underwriting process for prospects and clients, underwriting, structuring, and documenting complex sponsor-owned and leveraged transactions.
  • •Manage and monitor an assigned portfolio by tracking performance and trends, defining credit solutions, and driving remediation.
  • •Maintain risk rating integrity, conduct annual reviews, and handle financial statement spreading, compliance, and regulatory review.
  • •Manage amendments and waivers within the assigned portfolio and provide proactive, forward-looking risk recommendations.
  • •Expand client relationships through consistent client calling and partner with investment banking peers; mentor and coach junior PMs, associates, and analysts.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field and 7-10+ years of progressive middle market credit and/or mid-corporate underwriting, leveraged finance, sponsor finance, and portfolio management within a bank or direct lending environment.
  • •Mastery proficiency with MS Office Desktop applications.
  • •Strong interpersonal skills and written/verbal communication.
