Job Function: Field Service, Maintenance & Skilled Trades

Key Responsibilities

•Perform scheduled preventative maintenance (PM), DOT inspections and follow up repairs on light, medium and heavy-duty vehicles in a mobile/field environment.
•Diagnose, adjust, and repair electrical/braking/cooling systems, engine electronics, diesel steering, transmissions, clutches, differentials, and related components; road test to ensure proper operation.
•Independently manage parts inventory and document findings on Repair Orders using TRAIT app with an iOS device.
•Communicate with management and support teams to obtain approvals on repair estimates and discuss RO findings; coordinate PO numbers as needed.
•Work with a high degree of independence, manage daily schedule, and maintain safety, health, and environmental policies per OSHA/EPA/DOT regulations.

Key Requirements

•High School Diploma/GED and 5 years’ experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as any level degree/certification beyond a HS diploma/GED in a related discipline and 3 years’ experience; or 7 years’ experience in a related field
•Possess and supply a set of hand tools necessary to perform required job duties.
•Obtain Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification T8 (PMI) within eighteen (18) months.
•Obtain 608/609 certification within eighteen (18) months.
•This position follows regulations issued by the Department of Transportation’s (FMCSA). Candidate must be able to successfully complete and pass a DOT-regulated pre-employment background screening and DOT physical prior to employment.
