Job Summary

Lead the school’s Special Educational Needs (SEN), English as an Additional Language (EAL), and Gifted & Talented (G&T) provision, ensuring high-quality interventions, attainment, and progress. Oversee day-to-day student support, manage policies, track outcomes, and coordinate individualized learning plans (IEPs) and accommodations. Partner with parents, teachers, and external agencies, mentor SEN staff, and manage related budgeting and training to strengthen inclusive learning across the school.

Key Responsibilities

•Create and maintain registers for students with SEN/EAL/G&T support needs and exam accommodations.
•Oversee and continuously improve school SEN policies, procedures, and day-to-day provision.
•Track, analyze, and report on targeted student progress; conduct assessments and coordinate IEP development.
•Design, coordinate, and implement intervention programs; identify learning barriers and provide strategies to staff.
•Line manage SEN teachers/coordinators and learning assistants, mentor new staff, and provide training/coaching; lead parent and external agency engagement as needed.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in special education and teaching certification (educational leadership/management workshops preferred).
•5+ years’ experience teaching Special Education.
•2+ years’ senior or middle leadership experience in a similar setting.
•Knowledge of SEN, EAL and G&T quality provision and curriculum, plus international accreditation, inspection, and evaluation frameworks.
•Strong communication skills and experience developing and sustaining high-performance teams with stakeholders.
