Key Responsibilities

  • •Direct day-to-day and strategic activities of the plant to achieve financial and operating objectives for the business unit.
  • •Manage safety, production, maintenance, warehouse, quality, and customer relations to deliver on-time, on-spec output.
  • •Control operating expense and identify/justify capital expenditures to meet target-to-actual cost variances.
  • •Develop and manage business plans incorporating ISO, FDA, and government regulations, identifying continuous improvement opportunities.
  • •Lead and develop managers and direct reports; oversee employee selection, mentoring, performance management, and employee engagement while addressing labor issues.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; Material Science, Engineering, or Packaging preferred.

  • •Experience practicing Six Sigma and managing plant operations across safety, production, quality, finance, and employee relations.
