Job Summary

Provide effective instruction in general faculty subjects and at least two specific areas of the Business/Finance program, supporting second-language learners in a student-centric environment. Teach using course syllabi and program goals, deliver continuous feedback through varied assessments, advise and mentor students, and support internships/work placements. Contribute to applied research aligned to the division’s interests and the national innovation agenda, participate in academic and extracurricular events, and handle course assessment and curriculum improvement activities.

Key Responsibilities

•Contribute to implementation of the institution’s system-wide strategy and help develop/preserve system-wide and faculty/division policies.
•Teach courses aligned to course syllabi and program goals, using educational technology resources and strategies for second-language learning with continuous feedback.
•Assess and support student success by monitoring progress, evaluating students, updating grades, and contributing to question banks/coursework assessments as requested.
•Advise students by serving as an advisor, maintaining office hours, monitoring progress, providing at-risk recommendations, and mentoring students during internships/work placements.
•Conduct applied research aligned to faculty interests and the national innovation agenda; participate in conferences/committees and support service activities, while completing administrative course assessment and quality improvement tasks.

Key Requirements

•Ph.D. in a relevant discipline is required where applicable.
•Alternatively, a Master’s degree plus a professional certification relevant to the discipline with 5 years of teaching and industry experience.
•Alternatively, a Bachelor’s degree may be considered with extensive industry experience and industry certification as per discipline requirements.
•A minimum of 3 years teaching experience in the relevant discipline.
•Experience in developing course curriculum per accreditation and international standards, and incorporating educational technology in curriculum and instructional strategies.
