Key Responsibilities

•Lead mechanical building design projects from concept through construction, delivering high-quality engineering solutions
•Apply professional engineering judgement to ensure technical excellence, constructability, and cost effectiveness
•Design and coordinate HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and fuel systems for complex building projects
•Ensure designs comply with National, Provincial, and Municipal codes and standards
•Research and implement innovative and sustainable mechanical design solutions aligned with client objectives

Key Requirements

•Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution or equivalent
•Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) licensed in Ontario
•10+ years of experience in a mechanical consulting engineering environment
•Strong working knowledge of Canadian building codes and standards
•Proficiency with AutoCAD, Carrier HAP or Trane TRACE, and Microsoft Office
