Key Responsibilities

  • •Drive design and development of test equipment electrical and mechanical specifications from test system requirements, including requirements tracking.
  • •Lead ATE hardware development from conception through implementation and develop/ review test equipment hardware design.
  • •Develop trade studies and critical design concepts, including prototype creation, signal conditioning circuit design, and simulation.
  • •Create verification and validation procedures for ATE to ensure performance against customer and system requirements.
  • •Support system integration, verification/validation, commissioning, and review test engineering artifacts such as design documents, test plans, and user manuals.

Key Requirements

  • •7-10 years of experience designing and developing test equipment hardware, including electrical drawings, schematics, and assembly drawings.
  • •Hands-on experience with interconnect solutions, including interface test adapter (ITA) design and development.
  • •Experience using design software tools for PCBA schematics and knowledge of component/BOM selection.
  • •Knowledge of communications protocols such as Serial, Ethernet, and ARINC.
  • •BE/B-Tech/ME/M-Tech in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation Engineering.
