Design mechanical components and CAD deliverables for space hardware, analyzing mechanical needs through studies, simulations, mock-ups, models, and prototypes. Define mechanical functions, requirements, and development plans, and prepare data packages for production handover. Collaborate with production and procurement to deliver cost-effective, manufacturable designs, while monitoring progress, compliance with target costs and lead times, and proposing justified design and methodological choices.
