Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead development of forward-looking platform strategies using industry trends, emerging technologies, and business priorities.
  • •Provide independent architectural oversight across end user, edge, cloud, and network platforms to ensure consistency, scalability, and resilience.
  • •Engage early with digital, cyber, and operational teams to shape technology solutions and improve design quality.
  • •Communicate complex technology into clear, commercially relevant executive narratives and produce strategy/options/investment artefacts.
  • •Build vendor/partner relationships and influence cross-platform alignment for coherence, interoperability, and risk mitigation.

Key Requirements

  • •Significant experience in broad IT infrastructure leadership roles.
  • •Proven ability to manage or influence technical staff and projects.
  • •Strong architectural thinking with senior-level, board-facing credibility across modern enterprise platforms (EUC, cloud, network, edge).
  • •Demonstrated experience influencing outcomes without direct line authority and translating technical complexity into business-relevant language.
  • •Experience operating within a matrix structure in global organisations (desirable: exposure to digital/product organisations and supply-chain-driven environments).
